Random questions?? Why not...it's not like it'll come as a shock ;) Onto the questions....

Question 1: Do you have any pets ? Indeed! As you may have seen in my furry friend tag I have a dog :)

Question 2: Name three things that are physically close to you: My phone, a glass and a remote control :)

Question 3: What's the weather like right now ? I have no idea..it's night-time and I am NOT looking out the window! But since I can't hear rain I'd say it's cold but dry? 

Questions 4: Do you drive ? If so, have you crashed? I'm learning right now so I haven't crashed! But it's my test on Monday so wish me luck! :) [I totally passed!!]

Question 5: What time did you wake up this morning ? 11am...it's a Saturday!

Question 7: What was the last movie that you saw ? Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone! It was earlier tonight since we just got it on DVD (we only had a video..that's how old that film is!) and we're going to rewatch them all up to the 5th one and then see the rest for the first time! We just got a bit lost after that one and so we have to catch up a bit :) 

Question 8: What does you last text message say?  "Ok not done a lot tbh just relaxing after everything :) we need to go to costa next week or see a film!! Oh dear, if he freaks you out send him my way and I'll show him how to be freaked out ;) :P" ...I have no words...

New design & Pinterest!

Ooh well things have changed around here since my last post! I thought the pink was a little too much and I got a bit annoyed that the pattern didn't go down the page...even though this new one doesn't either...anyway...moving on! When I originally started this blog I had this design and I missed it so it was a no brainer when I decided to change things up!

It's ridiculous the kind of attention Selena and other Disney/Nick stars get when they're not particularly good singers, yet Ariana can hit those amazing notes and get nothing.

My Furry Friend: Tag

4. How did you get your pet?
Me and my dad tried persuading my mum to get another dog for about 6 years with no luck at all! Then when we were on holiday the cottage owner gave us his log in for ePupz, me and my dad found a lab puppy for sale in our home town and got my mum to phone up. Turned out the advert was a few months old, the dog had been forgotten about and he was 5 months old and still going by the name of 'puppy'! So we arranged to go and see him when we got home, and as soon as he was let out of the shed (where he lived!) he ran off down the cow field. Not the best first impression Otto. Since it was such an awful place we couldn't leave him there despite him not being what we originally planned for.

Whenever my mum gets his lead out of the cupboard he runs into the living room as though he doesn't want to go out. Every. Single. Time.

Another tag...uhoh! I've took a couple of the questions out before I've even began!

 

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

Naturally straight! Completely straight...it holds no other style for longer than a couple of hours or so.

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

Neither! It's my natural colour.

3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?

I admit that I wear it exactly the same everyday! Mainly because it'll get tangled and annoying if I have it down and then go outside at school!

 

4. How long does it take for you to put on makeup?

Literally 5 minutes if that! Depends how much concealer I need tbh...

5. Do you wear makeup when you're home alone or with family?

Not if I'm home alone or with my parents...but I do if other family is there!

6. Will you leave the house without makeup?

Not really...

7. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you're getting dressed?

If it's just school then I wing it! But if i'm going somewhere different i'll usually plan.

Only about twice a year...my everyday bag that is! My going out somewhere else bag changes everytime I need one!

I wake up at 7am and go to sleep at about 11.30pm after going to bed at 10.30.

1. What's a nickname only your family calls you?
To be honest there's not really any 'family' nicknames anymore! But my future Auntie (and only my future Auntie!) calls me Kirbalirbs!

2. What's a weird habit of yours?
I pick things up with my feet a lot rather than my hands...I have those strange toes that can grabs onto things like fingers can!

3. Do you have any weird phobias?
Frogs...pretty odd! (But understandable apparently) 
And...TRAINS. Yes, trains. Including the tracks...especially the tracks actually. And abandonded trains, or freight trains, or american trains...so normal.

Strengths in numbers: Tag

I'd quite like to do some tags on here rather than just posting my polyvore's all the time so I thought I'd start with a slightly more unusual one!

CONFIDENCE:-Have you ever felt unconfident before and why?

I hate to start on such a low note but yes! I still do...I've had hardly any confidence since my first year of high school 7 years ago. In primary school I was one of those students who never put their hand up to answer questions, but I was still quite outgoing until I moved schools. Within the first year all of my confidence completely went after I was bullied, and I'm still struggling to rebuild it now. Nowadays it's not so much bullying it's more cruel people who don't think before they speak, or the type who are too dim to realise that all they're doing is pointing out flaws I already know about.

-Do you loose confidence when you don't feel 'pretty'?

I never feel pretty. Just putting that out there first. I'm not saying that for the sake of it, or for sympathy, I'm saying it because it's the truth. I would say that one of the main causes of my low confidence is in fact my looks, or rather lack of looks.

-What makes you feel confident about yourself?

On those rare occasions when I do feel slightly more confident it's usually because of a really good makeup/outfit day or some positive attention. I say makeup but what I really mean is concealer, powder and lip product! If these do the impossible and pretty much cover ALL of my imperfections then I don't feel that bad.

BULLYING:
-Have you been bullied?

As previously mentioned...YES! A lot.

-Did you every bully someone?

No. I was accused of it once on formspring by somebody who knew me in real life...but I never found out who they were. Clearly they didn't know me very well or else they'd have realised that I could never do that to someone. Not after going through it myself.

-Whether you were bullying or being bullied, how'd it make you feel?

Worthless. Dead inside. Quite simply crap. (Pardon my French there!)

-How do you deal with bullying?

  I won't lie...I dealt with it in quite possibly the worst way you can...I bottled it up until I cracked and got my mum to go up to the school...I know...wimpy. But I was scared. And after its been bottled up for so long you find that it gets harder to admit to. 

INNER BEAUTY:
-Do nicer people seem more 'beautiful' to you?

Yes. I know some 'beautiful' girls at my school but they are just not nice people, and that kind of ruins them for me.

-Does makeup make you feel prettier?

It sounds bad but yes, it really does! I couldn't go to school without concealer now that I wear it everyday...

-What do you think of the expression 'beauty comes from the inside?'

  It's true. Completely true. Girls can be pretty but if they have a terrible personality they'll never really be beautiful. Of course that's just my opinion.

How I do my designs...

Since i haven't really posted many written things on here lately i thought it might be fun to do a quick post with step by step of how i do my polyvore designs. Yes it is basically just putting different items onto a board but i like to make it look like a mini mood board with backgrounds and decorations. I took some photos as i was doing my 'Pink Blossom' one to show how it all comes together after starting with a completely blank canvas. So  lets get to it...

It all starts with deciding on base pieces, like a dress or jeans and a top. So once i've found that i just add it in a find shoes which match eg the brown in these wedges matches the brown in the belt. I tend to go for heels most of the time...

So then i usually add in a picture which somehow links to the outfit i'm creating...here its a blossom tree which looks good with the dress. Also bags and beauty things are added here....

 I carry on adding the makeup and accessories until it looks like a real wearable outfit. Then i put on different blocks of colour which match the items. Sometimes i add a frame to the main section like i did here but usually i leave that part out...

This is where i name my design and add in any text i need. A lot of the time its song lyrics but for this one i decided on 'Pink Blossom' to go with the dress and tree. Also i added some extra background pictures just to make it more interesting. I have to fiddle with the positioning too just because it can look lopsidded or heavy if its balanced wrongly...

This is where the whole thing is saved and given a title which appears above it. Also you add in tags so that if somebody on the site searches for an outfit with something specific such as grey heels, and your design has them in, then it'll be found and seen.

When you click save then you're redirected to this page, your finished, published design. This is what people will see when they view your set, including all other designs, the title and a link to your profile...

If you have your blog, or any other site, and your polyvore linked like i do then the new set should be automatically posted there too. Sometimes its a bit silly and you have to try and manually post it if you want it to show up, which i do. So this is what you see when i post...

I hope that was somewhat interesting or useful to somebody out there. Its pretty easy for me to post things saying go try it, its so much fun, look what i did. But if i don't show you my process then its not helpful to anyone who actually wants to try. Some may not like my sets but i'm pretty proud...atm i have 1,666 views which i think is just crazyyyy. Although i'm not getting as many views on my latest ones so if you could go check them out i'd be really really grateful to you. Thanks for reading...<3

Review/Comparison...Dry Shampoo's :)

Soooooooo my lovely chums i thought i'd do a little comparison/review?

The two little goodies are Batiste dry shampoo in original and Girlz Only dry shampoo in party nights :) 

 So first the Girlz only product:

Stats~
Can be brought from: Tesco....and only tesco, its one of their new lines :)
                                   Bit of a let down if you can't get to one i suppose.
Price: £1.50
Size:150ml            
Scents: I've only been able to find the 2...Hazy days and Party nights..so i presume they just have those!

I have the Party one and personally the smell is far too overpowering, it stays on my hands for a long time afterwards and i just don't think its that nice. Maybe the Hazy one is lighter since its for the day? I think its a nice smell its just way way too strong.

Does it work?: From what i can tell, yes it does work. It doesn't last all day though but then again i have extremely greasy hair so it might just be me. Not sure if it'll last all school day though. Its basically an ordinary white powder and it does rub in but obviously that makes it quite dull. Overall its a good dry shampoo if you can get over the scent and you have hair which doesn't get greasy too quickly.

Batiste dry shampoo:



Stats~
Can be brought from: Most supermarkets (eg:asda and tesco) and high street shops like boots, superdrug and bodycare...even B&M have it!

Price: Varies...so i decided to a little bit of research in different shops....(also it depends on the actual type you get which i'll come onto in a sec) These are for the ordinary scents i guess....

           Tesco (like the Girlz Only): £2.00

           Boots: £2.35 (also in the 3 for 2)

           Superdrug: £2.19

           Asda: £2.00

Size: 150ml or travel size in 50ml

Scents: A lot! So theres the kinda ordinary line....... Original, Blush, Tropical, Diva, Boho, Brit and Fresh :) The prices above are for each of these.

Then theres the slightly special range.......Silver Shimmer, Gold Shimmer, Nude, Light/Blonde, Medium/Brunette and Dark/Black. So i'm sure you've guessed those last 3 are for different colours of hair :) Each of those is a different colour and scent to all of the ordinary ones which are all a white powder.

The most special range is slightly more expensive (Nude more than others) and some are only sold in certain places so.......

            Tesco: Sell none of them

            Boots: £3.05-(All except light) and then Nude is £3.56

            Superdrug: Exactly the same as boots except they don't have the dark either :(

            Asda:Sell none (guess its just supermarkets?)

Personally i've used Batiste for years now....probably 5 years? I've never had a problem, i love it. Yes i am a little bias to this one but its just amazing. My favourite has to be Blush :) But i love most of them to be honest. I've not tried the special ones but i will at some point. For some reason i can't use the tropical...You see i had asthma when i was younger but its mostly cleared up now except for in certain situations. And the tropical is a real irritant for me. I don't know if the formulas different or its just the scent but i can't breathe when i spray that type. All of the others are completely fine. But i can say without doubt this product WORKS.

So overall i would stay true to my Batiste just because it has a much bigger range and the scents are much lighter than the Girlz Only. To be honest if the scent of my hair product is stronger than my perfume then theres an issue! There's only a 50p difference in price if you buy from a supermarket and even less if you can find it in a discount store like B&M. I will always use dry shampoo and for me i'll always go back to Batiste. Hopefully this will help somebody and you will find the right product for you :)
